<DIV><BR></DIV>To multiplex ethernet and TV together, you would need to design a
whole new system. I think what I would do is use 802.11a (5ghz) to make the
ethernet connection, and for the TV, your easiest option may be to use a 2.4ghz
video sender. You'd have a tuner (VCR or whatever) at the end with the antennas,
and use some software to extend the remote for the tuner through the ethernet
(need an IR receiver on a PC at the remote end, and an IR transmitter on a pc at
the end with the tuner). Of course you could always use 802.11b for the ethernet
too if you could manage to not have the 2.4ghz video sender interfere with it.
In my experience, doing whatever to the video to jam it down wireless ethernet
doesn't work too well at all. It usually doesn't look too great, or it breaks up
because of little connection issues. It would be very different if you had fiber
run between the 2 houses. Then I'd say go for video over ethernet, but in my
experience, video over wireless lan wouldn't be the prefered way of doing

to check out what you all said. One thing I have to educate myself as for
example: I do not understand WAP54g's in bridge mode. I do subscribe to
Nuts and Volts magazine, and have a few years saved, but I do not recall
anyone having a article or any ad for what I want. I did try to e-mail some of
the ads the deal with link components. Years ago when I was studying these
things for Satellite commutations phone and TV they seem to multiplex
everything to transmit a band and then decode it on the other end. I'm not
into designing, but maybe I could find something out there or the ether net
that I could copy and adapt to make an IR link by multiplexing the
signals.</DIV>
