I've put together a howto for this chipset and Linux based on the very-usable open-source driver project at http://acx100.sourceforge.net, there are downloadable pre-compiled modules there for Redhat 9.0, Mandrake 9.0, Mandrake 9.1, and Slackware 9.0, these modules are for the "stock" distribution kernels, meaning the default kernel installed off of the download editions.
