Recently I have discovered that the area north of the main University of Washington, or UW, campus up to Ravenna Park is called University Park. It's primarily on a hill that slopes down to the east, a turn-of-the-century single-family residential area ranging from 16th Avenue NE in the west to 21st Avenue NE in the east, and from NE 50th Street in the south to Ravenna Park in the north. Think northeast UniversityDistrict merging along southwest Ravenna neighborhood.

(Ravenna after Ravenna, Italy as CapitolHill after the Capitolene of imperial Rome.)
