TrendNET 310APB

Also known as TrendNET310APBX; the only difference between the two is the APBX model has removable antennas, so you could use other antennas if you wanted.

A great little access point, runs up to 22Mbps

Works as an AP, AP Client, Point to Point bridge, and a Multipoint bridge out of the box. (Can also run as a Repeater using D-Link firmware; see below.)

This unit can be successfully flashed with firmware from the D-Link DWL 900AP+, and should also work with images for the Linksys WAP11 (See Wap11Ver22Hack).

It appears the APB model could be hacked for antennas pretty easily, as the internally mounted antennas are removable after the unit is disassembled.

On a side note, if you go hacking the power (for POE, etc.), be careful. The power input has no protection for an incorrectly wired power lead, and the unit will be permanantly damaged if the input polarity is reversed.
