The New Node Map. (further known as Nnm)

After the July 2002 meeting, EvanWebb talked about building a new node map, as the current NodeMap is quite out of date, and we are in sore need of one. This is going to be the primary launch point for documentation and development for that node map. Every and all suggestions or comments about the node map are welcome (I would ask that you put them in the relevent section).

NnmFeatureRequest - If you want to see a new feature, this is the place to tell everyone about it (use of this page is highly encouraged right now as the the Nnm is being actively worked on)

NnmArchitect - How the underbelly of the beast will work

NnmToDo - Known features and bugs to be fixed

NnmUseCases - A critical piece in software creation. UseCases describe a use of the system in terms completely of the end user, so that the software designers can properly craft the process

NnmSourceCode - Where and how to get the source

What is the current status?

Emailed Evan for status on Sept 11, no reply as of Sept 16, 2002. We should give him a week or two; I hope we didn't lose a nodemapper again. :( --EricJohanson

is there any chance that there will be a Node Map again? It Seems that your messages are pretty outdated and I'm looking also for a NodeMap software for nonprofit organisation. Thanks

Why not use the NodeDB??

WiFiMaps.com is currently in development of software to display CWN network topologies, and list hotspots -- all correlated with wardriving data.

phpWirelessMap Why not use this project, it looks pretty slick, I'll set it up on my server if nothing else
