SeattleWirelessVoIP has an independent dialing plan that compliments existing PSTN and systems like FWD. This will allow implementors to specify specific dialplan filters to determine if a SWN is called or not.
Existing dial plans we would like to work with:
- North American dialing plans
Things we don't really care about:
- Other random providers nobody cares about
- International dialing
We should probably make an effort to make the dialing plan expandable in case we need to add more numbers, or more likely, add an additional CWN to our network.
Some ideas of a dialing plan:
- Total length should be different than 10 digits to avoid PSTN matches and overlap
- Possibly a unique digit or sequence to denote a SWN number
Prefix to denote what CWN it belongs to (spec in CwnDialPlan)
- Unique user ID number/extension at the end
Examples:
0[2 digit CWN][3 digit extension]
