NodeRavennaNorth is located near the corner of 18th and 82nd NE, near the 7-11 on Lake City Way. The AP is a WRT54G running OpenWRT. I have a CookieCantenna connected and pointed towards the alley behind my house, which makes the best place to catch a signal on 17th Ave NE or in the alley itself. The feed is providing internet access to my neighbors and anyone else who cares to connect.
I have a weatherproof enclosure (more than one, actually) and some home-brew POE modules. I have goals of getting the equipment moved to my roof. There is plenty of work required to get everything on the roof and I'd appreciate any and all help. Please let me know. I look forward to meeting some other folks who are involved in Seattle community wireless.
