Feel free to add features you'd like to see the node map / database support. Not all of these will happen, but the more input, the better we can make the map.
- Different map types
- Estimated Power Maps
- Neighborhood Maps
Non geographical, network topology maps -- linked to RoutingTable project for single-update
- Considering all the hills, a Topographical map would be nice, and depending on capabilites, see if you have a line of site to any nodes based on that info...
- Search by address
- Node Active state
- Some automated way for the nodes to report to a central server every 15 minutes to indicate they are active. This gets imported into the node map every few days.
- Some manual way to flag who last checked the node. A "node report" log.
as far as:
- Graphical Representation
- By Street Address
- By Neighborhood
- With Topographic Info, Elevation, and siteline anylisis to other nodes
please contact jonathan jay of microradio.net for seattle area topo maps: xmtr@riseup.net
- we at doing work on this for a seattle area microradio network in the 100 Mghz (3 meter) band. perhaps we could collaberate at some level for graphic solutions to physical mapping of
