MetrixCommunication is our hardware partner, a wireless hardware store started by MattWestervelt. It is located at 623A Broadway E on Capitol Hill (underneath the Deluxe Bar and Grill, next to the Museum of Mysteries), and carries a wide variety of products from NanoStations to SingleBoardComputers to PigTails.

Metrix has been hosting the weekly HackNight since 2007, and pays for the Westin Interconnect at NodeSeaCCP

We've recently added a Store tab to the wiki, and through that link, you will be directed to the Metrix.net online store.

Metrix focuses on offering reliable standards based wireless gear to network builders of all sizes. Whether you are looking to build city wide network, community hotspot or just make your home wifi go farther they can help you out.

Metrix features outdoor and indoor Linux based wireless kits that are far more flexible than off the shelf wifi gear you might find at Frys. There are also wireless cards, pigtails and antennas.

Metrix has helped several projects like CuWin and MIT Roofnet get off the ground by providing easy to build kits and hardware support. Metrix also contributed to the Radio Response effort after Hurricane Katrina.
