In my previous life I worked on database development for internal tools at Microsoft. I left MSFT in 1999 and went to work for Rivals.com where I did SQL development and helped setup their European datacenter (or is it datacentre?) in London. After floating for a while following the .com crash I have landed at the UW Friday Harbor Labs on San Juan Island where I have been doing network and system management.
I am experienced in Windows (all flavors), ASP, Perl, SQL Server, Access, firewalls, general networking, Linux (Slackware).
I am in the process of moving and will post pictures from my new roof when I get into the house.
