The new Bullet2 and Bullet5 from Ubiquiti are essentially ethernet->wireless transceivers.
One end is a POE jack, and the other is a Male N connector.
16MB of RAM and 4MB of flash makes them OpenWRT compatible.
As with all Ubiquiti, it's Atheros based, so you can use madwifi, madwifi-ng or the ubiquiti HAL if you're using OpenWRT. If you leave it vanilla, you get the Ubiquiti AirOS, which is capable of most things. I would say that these are excellent for low footprint omni sites, big dishes where you want no cable loss, or possibly as a hackable handheld. For most applications, a Nanostation2 or a Powerstation will work fine or better.
