A 34 story building in downtown Seattle which is known for its dense content of meet-me rooms (fiber and copper interconnection points), voice/data/internet/colo companies, consulates, and reasonable lease rates. The building serves as a hub for almost all traffic coming into and out of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, BC, and China. Most IXC and LEC (Telco) interconnections take place in the building because of the centralized meet-me rooms which allow carriers to interconnect at a much lower cost than traditional local/metro loops. It has wonderful line of sight to the north/northeast (Queen Anne/U-Dist), to the East (Capitol Hill), and to the West (West Seattle and Bainbridge) and is used by several commercial wireless internet providers. Known to most as 'The Building', some also know it as STTLWAWB.
