The Valemount WAR4 is the same as the Compex WP188
Description
Enterprise class Access Point, with advanced wireless and routing features.
Uses the powerful 533 Mhz Intel IXP425 processor, with 4 mini-pci slots, single Ethernet. Uses 0.125 inch standoff or fits perfectly in the optional WarCase
*32 MB ram with 8 MB flash and 533 MHz IXP-425 CPU * Reverse Voltage and Transient Protection * 48V POE Input * Power to SPARE for 2 High Power radio cards and 2 medium to low power radio cards
The Boards come loaded with Valemounts own bootloader and StarV3 firmware. This can be change to load Compex's bootloader and firmware or Redboot with OpenWRT via the JTAG Connector.
There is no standard rs-232 populated port, but there is a ttl level serial port located at J6 and requires an adaptor. The manual has the correct pinout.
