24dBi parabolic antennas

These antennas are used between our mountain top and terrestial point to point links. They are highly directional and provide a lot of gain for our applications.

Senao/EnGenius EL-2511 CD+EXT2 200mW PCMCIA cards

These cards provide two MMCX external connectors, 200mW of RF output, and impressive receive sensitivity. We are using these at all of our installs. See SenaoCard for more info about these cards.

Senao MMCX to N male pigtails

A PigTail is simply a piece of (thin) coax with two different connectors on each side. We are looking for an MMCX to N male -- Cisco type.

Soekris boxes

We make use of the soekris hardware platform for BSD-based routers. The Soekris Net4521 features dual PCMCIA cards, two ethernet ports, mini-PCI, and a compact flash slot for a solid state drive. Bulk discount is available on this hardware.

CompactFlash

We are looking for at least 128Mb of CompactFlash. We use these for Soekris solid state drives. These cards can be bought at any electronic store.

PowerOverEthernet

We are looking for PowerOverEthernet power supplies and injector systems. These can either be homebrew or commercial. PowerOverEthernet injectors that can make use of a positive ground (-24 telcom voltage) is an extra plus.

N barrel connectors

We are looking for type N male barrels. These are about $10 and are available at some radio supply stores.

Waterproof enclosures

These can be anywhere from $30-$40 at a hardware store. Large as possible. We put our soekris and other gear into this for roof-top mounts.

SOHO Access Points

We also are interested in SOHO access points, RG1000's, WAP11's, Cisco 350's, etc. External antenna ability is a must.

FUNDING

Any amount of money, cash, check, or even paypal is accepted. We will have a collection box at some meetings. Contact CaseyHalverson if you have any questions regarding this option.
