Most of it is, well, not for the web. Buuut, I supooose I can describe my current project a little (since you asked so nicely).
It describes an epic voyage of our team of anti-hero's to recover lost love and kill many children along the way. The concept is that you will read this and you will feel bad -- the main characters are all charasmatic, yes, but spiteful and uncooporative. Betrayal, arguement, and mistrust follows their every step. One at the end does get to make it into a God, but in this world that may not be to his benefit.
The tale takes place in a near-earth alternate reality in Southern Europe around the 4th Century AD. The Roman Empire was long since shattered by the hammer of the more vicious Gothi, the race of the main characters, which is in turn shattered by the hammer of the Mongols. The characters quest through Europe, although not so-named, and find themselves in Ireland for the climax. The lure to the Emerald Isle? The perception of on character's lost love.
Some of the character names are Aesferax, Anglix and Moradore. I am currently (7/00) taking a storyboarding class to expand more upon these ideas.
