Posted by NathanA: I have a page up describing the Linksys WRT54AG and my attempts-to-date to assemble a customized firmware image for this unit. It is located at http://www.anderson-net.com/~nathan/wrt54ag/. If it is appropriate, feel free to copy some or all of the contents of this page to this Wiki (just please credit it appropriately).

The WRT54AG is a (as far as I can tell) discontinued Linksys model that is unique because it runs Linux just like the WRT54G series does, but it has 2 MiniPCI slots in it (only one occupied by a dual-band Conexant Prism "Duette" card). Linksys's web site only acknowledges its existence at its Download Center.

Complete source in its entirety is available at the linksys GPL section, and the fact that it uses this ubiquitously open sourced prism is also a welcoming detail.

Despite this unit never having been announced/marketed by linksys, you can still find this router at this time (6/26/05) for purchase new at outpost.com for about $80.
