============================================== Drivers for this chipset

Windows: From Stephen Gutknecht July 21: The firmware update program ONLY works with Windows 98/ME. Not even Windows 2000 is supported. I also find that this chipset's driver (cw10.sys) has terrible IRQ problems under Windows 98/ME/2000. The driver just doesn't like to share IRQ's and locks up THREE different systems I have. Two desktops (all different chipsets) and one laptop all lockup when the card is inserted. Support basically tells you to disable serial ports, printer ports, and USB in an attempt to free up IRQ's. The drivers are just plain broken. On all these same machines, my Orinoco silver works perfect the first time (Note that it is not the recommended card for Prism chipset based cards, recommended drivers are: HostAP and linux-wlan). My D-Link card does work on ONE of my systems, my IBM ThinkPad T20.
