All these are the same products. They feature a 4 port switch (10/100 Mbps) and a xDSL/Cable Router. Especially interesting is the fact that the router supports all wireless lan cards based on the intersil designs. Included is a Z-Com XI-325 (30mW, 2xRP-MMCX) and I replaced it with a XI-325H (100mW) and it works fine. I'll try it with some 802.11a cards and will report it.

• -- Someone knows what's the connector of this card ?

  -> Outer connecton: Ground; inner: signal. Z-Com states that it's RP-MMCX but I doubt that as no RP-MMCX connector fits.

Current firmware for FW8-604 router is 2.09. You can get it directly from Tailyn, just send e-mail to their support (check http://www.tailyn.com.tw for more info). This firmware has additional features: e-mail notification on unauthorized access and dynDNS feature. It is also more stable though the router still crashes sometimes. ->The router became really stable after update! Good work (althought the wireless card keeps overheating

The FW8-604 was phase-out by Tailyn since 2004,this mean no new upgrade firmware and no repair service.
