A Community Wireless Network is a network created by those who use it.
It differs from a Commercial Wireless Network or Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) because it is not a community of consumers, but rather a network of peers that create the network that they use.
It is not a Municipal Wireless Network either, Municipal Networks are created and governed rather than built organically in ad-hoc fashion.
Community Wireless Networks are networks built in the spirit of the Internet, but without the deep pockets and biases of the commercial telecom players.
